1985 COBRA Autokraft Mark IV

Now available 1985 COBRA Autokraft Mark IV – just beautiful!

This car was built in alloy by Autokraft in England using the very same body/mold bucks. It was built by many of the same craftsmen that worked at AC building the original 427 COBRA for Shelby American. It is important to note that Brian Angliss, the director at Autokraft, had purchased all of the original tooling and equipment from AC as well as employed many of the AC workers to continue Carroll Shelby’s 427 COBRA legacy.

This is a three-owner, 12,000 original miles, example finished in Guardsman Blue with white stripes complimented by a tan leather interior – out of a long term, 24 year ownership, cared for by an enthusiast.

  • 355 cubic inch Ford COBRA small block
  • Engine built by Robert Yakes ($35,000 in 1986)
  • Air Gap Alloy Edelbrock in-take manifold
  • 1050 CFM Holley carburation
  • Tuned headers
  • High performance 5 speed Tremec gearbox

The Autokraft Mark IV provides a driving continuation of Shelby’s legacy with the added user-friendly bonus of increased legroom, better ventilation and a 5 speed gearbox for long-distance cruising. A must-see, must-drive experience ready for its next.
