Lola T163- 17 was a special lightweight Lola built to Penske Racing specifications. It debuted in the 1969 Mid-Ohio Can Am race where driver Mark Donohue qualified 3rd. The car was plagued with driveshaft failures and retired on Lap 8 of the race with that problem. Penske Racing shelved it after that. It was later sold to Eno DePasquale who owned until 2008. It then went to current McLaren director Zak Brown. Zak sold it to the current owner in 2014.
